Hotel was very good but must pick out the restaurant for special mention. All in our party agreed that dinner was one of the best we have ever had. Staff were excellent and the food was truly outstanding.

Fabulous hotel. Staff could not do enough for us. Food amazing in Opus restaurant. Great idea having hairdresser beside the pool I used it twice. I have stayed there twice in one month and loved it. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend a visit

I would highly recommend this Hotel to my friends and family as the Staff made you feel very welcome, the rooms were very comfortable and the leisure/spa centre was excellent!
The Opus One Restaurant was temporary closed till the beginning of March, the food was served in the Bar - excellent food and the service could not be faulted!
The only thing that I missed from my last visit (over 3 yrs ago) was the Cavan Crystal Shop which was now closed.
I have already recommended the hotel to friends who are looking forward to getting away and relaxing for a few days.

I brought my husband to the Cavan Crystal Hotel for his birthday and we really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is very clean and modern. From check in to check out we found all the staff very friendly and helpful. We didnt book the restaurant in time so it was booked out but we had received a courtesy call two days before our arrival to advise us of this anyway. We ate out in Cavan town after a recommendation from reception and we we'rent disappointed. We returned to the hotel bar where there was music and a comfortable crowd. The atmosphere was great. We used the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi the next morning and it was lovely and relaxing.All areas were clean and well maintained. The gym area was well equipped and with the air con on it was lovely and airy, no stuffiness. Therooms were nicely decorated and comfortable but during the night I could hear loud clicking from the heating which kept me awake for a while but cant really complain about that because I hear my own heating at home only less multiplied.My husband slept through the night so it would only effect light sleepers like myself. Overall a great hotel and we will be returning again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cavan Crystal Hotel on 22/2 /13.We got a very warm welcome at reception from a member of staff who was extremely friendly and pleasant, nothing was a proplem, anything we needed just ask.Our rooms were spotless, modern and warm.We dined in the restaurant that night and it was superb as was breakfast next morning. The staff in the bar also were extremely nice. A wonderful stay, and will certainly recommend to our friends..... We also will be back! Thank you all in Cavan Crystal Hotel.

We arrived on saturday 2nd Feb ....We were welcomed very warmly, and asked had we stayed before. We explained that we celabrated our daughters
wedding the week before in The Hotel Kilmore and that most of our guests had stayed in The Cavan Crystal...We were rewarded with an upgrade.
And were amazed when we were informed that the upgrade was the honeymoon suite...It made our stay even more special as we were celabrating
our 30th wedding aniversary...The staff were exceptional they were all cheerful and friendly...The food was absolutley gorgeous Our compliments to
the chef..We enjoyed a night if dancing after our delicious....My husband had a wondreul time in the Gym and pool, while I relaxed in the bubbles of my very own jacuzzi with a glass of my favourite chardonay.
I will be recommending The Cavan Crystal Hotel to everybody I know..We are planing an other stay inthe very near future..10 out of10...

We arrived at the hotel expecting run of the mill as that is what we paid for but how surprised were we. The reception area was beautiful and the staff very friendly. We were checked in quickly and went to our room which was a lot bigger than the average hotel room. The only thing I could fault in the room was it could do with a modern tv the old style one takes the look off an otherwise perfect room. We went to dinner that night in the Opus Restaurant and it was an experience that I hope I will have again very soon. The food and service was excellent similiar to a top fine dining restaurant and I asked the restaurant manager was the chef well known and she pointed out that they had 2 AA rosettes and were Michelin recommended and rightly so. A huge thing for us was that there were no supplements, my husband is a steak and chips man and always has to pay a supplement, not in Opus. The hotel should shout about this restaurant from the roof tops because it is definitely the reason I will return. We went to the bar after dinner and there was entertainment which was good and on a wet and windy night it was nice not to have to go anywhere else. We had an excellent breakfast both mornings one in the restaurant and one in our room both were plentiful and hot. We had dinner on the second night in the Atrium as the Opus doesn't open on Sunday and it was excellent good honest bar food served by the nicest staff who were so helpful. I travel a lot around the world and stay in a lot of nice hotels and I am often left disappointed with our own hotels at home but certainly not in the case of the Cavan Crystal we got far more than we paid for that said please do not increase your prices because I will be back. Would just like to say my new wife and I after our wedding had the perfect getaway at the Cavan Crystal Hotel, basically we where looking for a fairly modern hotel with a nice bar good facilities pool,spa,gym etc and friendly welcoming staff and that's exactly what we got. Additionally as it was the first part of our honeymoon I enquired about an upgrade to a suite this was provided at no extra cost. So just to say a big thank you to all the staff and management at the Cavan Crystal Hotel I will and have already recommended them to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cavan crystal. The staff are so friendly and the evening meal we had in the hotel was absolutely fabulous. We can't wait for our next trip. We were sad to see that the lovely gift shop was closing. Hopefully another nice shop might replace it.

Our stay in the hotel was a great experience from arrival to departure. On arrival we had a great welcome from the staff at reception who were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits were very welcome after our long journey. The beds were very comfortable and the room lovely and warm. We enjoyed the bar food and again found the staff very friendly and helpful nothing was a trouble . The breakfast was excellent , the variety of juices, fruit and cereals to be commended. Our cooked breakfast was piping hot and again the staff were courtious and helpful. My friend used the leisure centre and said the pool was very clean and well maintained. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to our friends.4star rating

We spent a very enjoyable two days over New Year at the Cavan Crystal. We were there to attend a wedding. We found the staff to be most friendly and extremel y helpful-nothing was too much trouble.! The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The food both in the restaurant and at the wedding reception on New Year's Eve was of a very high standard My only suggestion would be that in this day and age I would consider the availability of WiFi throughout the hotel to be a basic requirement! We stayed on 14th December. This is the first time we have stayed in this hotel and it won't be the last. The service was excellent. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was lovely - especially the en-suite. The breakfast was also excellent. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends.

A must visit!! From welcome to departure this hotel exceeds all levels of customer service and comfort. The hotel is imaculate and warming and the staff are exceptional.
A special mention to the recptionist Emma who could not have been more helpful, what a credit to the hotel.
If you want to stay in the area then this is the hotel for everyone.
Will stay here all the time I visit Ireland again.

We stayed in the Cavan Crystal Hotel on Sat 8th December. This was our third stay this year and it didn't disappoint. Once again the welcome from staff was friendly, courteous and professional. We had been looking forward to dinner in Opus One and it also lived up to our expectations with a fabulous meal and great service. Drinks afterwards in the bar were also enjoyable. We will definitely be back in 2013.

We had an excellent stay. We went 3 of us for a girls weekend. Triple room was lovely & had loads of space. Staff couldn't have been nicer. We ate in the restaurant on the Saturday night. I couldn't recommend it enough, the food was amazing. Excellent quality and such good value. The breakfast was also beautiful, a much higher standard than most hotel breakfasts. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very impressed with our stay in the Cavan Crystal. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left the staff were fantastic. Dinner was fabulous. We got the 1B&B plus dinner package and couldn't believe that the meal hadn't been compromised like it would in other hotels on package deals. The Leisure Centre is great. Our only fault would be that the pool was a little cold. The bedroom was lovely & comfortable & clean. For its location there was no road noise either. Overall a great stay.

The Cavan Crystal Hotel is a very pleasant hotel to visit. General areas very smart and stylish. Rooms good size, no safe in the rooms - which is essential these days when one travels with laptops ipads iphones etc. which guests would like to be able to secure in the room rather than carry these items to the dinning rooms etc.
Saturday and Sunday breakfast should be until 11am after all it is the weekend!
Overall very good first impression.

What an amazing weekend - cannot speak highly enough about our stay at the Cavan Crystal! My husband and I had a fantastic time!
We were last at the hotel 6 years ago when we got engaged and I booked this weekend as a suprise for my husbands 30th birthday! Always a concern that something isn't as good as you remember it - but no danger of that here........... If anything - it surpassed our memories!!
The lady who checked us in was really friendly and upgraded us to the Melissa Suite as it was my husbands birthday!
WOW - The room was fantastic - really comfy and spacious!
We had spa treatments in the afternoon - they were fabulous!!
Then our diner in Opus One Restaurant - absolutely delicious! Food was just mouth watering and the staff were super friendly and helpful!
Really nice personal touch at the end of the meal when my husband was given a plate of petit fours with "happy birthday" written in chocolate!
And then finally breakfast on Sunday morning - delicious again!
All in all the perfect relaxing weekend with a touch of luxury and pampering as a treat! Can't wait to go back! We're expecting baby no.2 next year so maybe my husband will take me back as treat after that!! :-)

Excellent hotel. stayed 3 nights there for a family wedding and everthing was perfect - the room, the breakfast, the staff attitude and the wedding itself.

I stayed with my Mam and two sisters in your hotel last Saturday. We went for the spa treatment, b&b and meal for €115 deal. This was fantastic value for what we got. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were a great size, the treatment was enjoyable, and the diner was amazing. We stayed for 3 hours at the restaurant and enjoyed all the little extras that came between our courses. I have told a number of people about the great time we had and hope to go back again some time.

Stayed for one night in November . Staff friendly professional and helpful, very considerate towards my 90 year old father. A lovely spacious room, very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast- all in all a very enjoyable stay and a positive experience
